Smelliot Brought Me Both of His Toys This Morning While I Was In the Shower

Getting ready to go to a birthday party. It's hard to concentrate when Smelliot the cat is so effing cute!

BJ's birthday bash tonight. Fun times ahead.

Trip #2 to Chicago is currently being planned. I can't wait! I got a nice drunken call from the guys up there last weekend. Totally made my night! I really want to go back.

Background People had to push filming for "Dolly" back until August, because of issues with the equipment. That really sucks. But, at least we'll still be able to do it. I wish we weren't losing Jamie (our actor), though. Sad times.

Andy Davis is providing the music this morning. He's fantastic!

Quick Tidbits

Spending some time in Huntsville for the weekend with my dear David & Phalicia. And today, I actually slept in. Crazy story, huh?

I started writing a zombie movie. And I'm only an episode & a half away from making my deadline, which is at the end of this month. Very excited.

Background People starts filming in less than two weeks now! There is still so much to do! I don't think I could be any more excited about this little group! I love this, & am truly blessed to have these people in my life.

Going to Nashville tomorrow to see my step-sister. David & Phalicia might come with.

Saw Leslie & Derek play last night. Good show. Good music.

Saw Secrets of a Soccer Mom Thursday night. Hysterical show. And it was a treat getting to see one of my professors act. Tammy was fantastic.

I grilled steaks for the first time that night, too. And I grilled corn, made a squash & onion dish, & made banana pudding for dessert. And still had time to get ready & look semi-cute! I'm very proud. And the steaks turned out to be very yummy! Mine was a tad rare for what I usually get, but it was so good!

I can't wait to start diving into my cookbooks! And maybe that cocktail book, also. Haha.
