Time Is Passing Too Rapidly!

It's almost time for the shows! Two weeks from tomorrow we open MacBeth, & we have 26 days until After Magritte. I'm feeling pretty good about MacBeth so far, but After Magritte is making me a bit nervous. We did some Laban work last night, which helped a bit. I ended up working in a different direction that I had originally intended, especially with my voice. But it still hasn't eased my nerves about anything. I'm so scared of messing this up. Not that I don't have confidence in myself. I'm just really nervous about this show. It's kind of scary. But I've got this.

Food sounds good. I'm going to enjoy some of that.

Beautiful Weekend, Bleh Monday

Well, this weekend was absolutely wonderful! Savannah was gorgeous all day Saturday! We walked all around that little town! We went to River Street, Forsyth Park, had lunch at Half Moon, took pictures in the cemetery, & then went to Crystal Beer for a later dinner. After dinner we walked around the beautiful town a bit more, & went to the Sixpence Pub for drinks before calling it a night. A bit rainy Sunday, but that didn't damped our spirits! We still went down to River Street, shopped, & had lunch before heading out.

The bed & breakfast we stayed in was absolutely precious! Everyone there was super friendly, & the place was so cozy! I wish our stay wasn't over so shortly. It was fantastic.

Woke up today feeling great, & as the day went on, my headache started coming back. I thought for a bit it might have been a migraine, because not only did my head hurt, but light isn't my best friend right now & I'm feeling a bit queezy. But I'm thinking maybe the nausea may just be the kind you get when you haven't eaten in a while. I can't tell. That's strange.

Anyhow, I'm off to ponder taking more medicine, & try to get rid of this thing before my rehearsals tonight.

I Love LOST!!!

Finished season five tonight. When it ended I did this really weird instinctive nervous laughter bit. It took me a while to get over. Downloaded the first two episodes of season six from itunes. I should have gone to bed, but I'm addicted to that show. Ugh. It's just SO GOOD!!!

I'll have to wait until we get back Sunday to catch up on the the rest. Now I must sleep, or I'll never wake up in time. We're now leaving at 10:00 in the morning. That's less that eight hours. God, help me stay awake while I drive...

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Two days until the trip to Savannah, GA! I could not be more excited! Last night, I borrowed the GPS from my parents, so that we can find the place. We'll be leaving Friday at about 5:30, & will get there around midnight that night. Then it's a day & a half of Savannah before we have to return! I can't wait! I've never been on a trip with a boyfriend before, when it was just the two of us. I'm pretty stoked!

Hoping to find a good way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day tonight.

Dinner with Matt tomorrow night. Very excited. It's been a long time since we've seen each other.

Man, it's still hard to believe it's half-way through March. A month & a half of school left before summer. Where did the year go?

That means only a month & a half until I get my puppy! Hooray! I cannot wait to get her! I've been trying to decide on a name, but I think I'm going to just have to wait for her to get here before I decide! Ugh! So excited!

Must go clean out my car. We're taking it this weekend, & I want it to be clean.

Busy Spring Break

I am very much looking forward to tomorrow afternoon. We get out for spring break, I have an audition for a film noir type movie, & then a date with my beau to have sushi & see Up In the Air.

Saturday I have an audition for a sci-fi film, then it's off to DD at the beerfest with Elijah, Daniel, & Sarah.

Sunday, not many plans, but I think I'm going to go to church.

Monday is my catch up/lazy day. I'm going to catch up on things I'm behind on (such as Lost & some journals), & then I'm going to see Eli's softball game & spend some time with him afterwards.

Tuesday is work, late lunch & seeing a movie with Daina, & then having home-cooked dinner with DaynaLou & my family. (Yummmm!)

Wednesday I'll be at home for most of the day, & hopefully catching up with my cousin & possible one or two other people.

Thursday is work & having dinner with Matt. It's been forever since I've seen him! I'm very excited. I get to see his new house!

Friday we leave for Savannah! I am so so so so SO stoked about this trip! We'll be there until Sunday, & come back that evening! I can't wait!

The next day, life as usual resumes. Whoo! Let's get this mess started!

For tonight, however, I have to go print off head shots & then have rehearsal for both shows.

Celebrating afterwards with my roomie! He got Male Purple Leader! Hooray!!!!

Hopefully the Beatles Rock Band party will still be going, as well. I need to see some people there!

I did 30 power yoga sun salutations today. It felt pretty good!

Hello, Springtime, My Old Friend!

I don't have rehearsal for MacBeth until 8:00 tonight. After that, I have After Magritte rehearsal until about 11:00. Then, it's off to bed to hopefully get some much needed rest. The weekend didn't seem to provide me with much of that, like I had thought it would. Work tomorrow, then voice class. Fun fun!

Background People will be meeting Wednesday at 4:00. I talked to Brittany this morning & we both have many new ideas to throw around. She & I will meet at 3:00 to discuss said ideas before everyone shows up. I have been doing tons of research in the past few days. I hope we take as many opportunities as we can to get ourselves out there & to create opportunities for ourselves & others who wish to work in our industry. That's a big part of what this is about for me: creating opportunities, & getting our names & our work out there. Brittany & I are both incredibly excited about what we have so far, which isn't much, but at least it's a start. I can't wait to see where it goes from here! I feel like I'm already living the dream. And perhaps I am.

Today, the weather is beautiful! I actually went outside today without wearing a jacket! I love warm weather!

Life is lovely! I feel wonderful, inside & out. I feel like I can do anything. I hope it lasts. I don't ever want to come down from this existential high.

Must go be even more productive.

Sleep Deprived

Well, I have barely slept this week. I don't really have a lot to say, just wanted to update. I'm about to go get a shower & clean my room up a little bit. Eli is coming over this afternoon. I can't wait. I'm going to sleep for sooo long tonight/tomorrow.

Whew! Another All-Nighter!

This is the second Tuesday in a row that I've stayed up all night! I've had insomnia this week, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have slept much anyhow, but it would have been nice to have tried. But alas, I've been up studying for my Theatre History II midterm (which I'm really nervous about) & getting some household stuff done. Such as laundry. I really needed to do laundry.

James & I studied together tonight after rehearsal. We went to Huddle & caught up a bit & tried to study there & couldn't focus. But we ended up getting some studying done at my place, accompanied on my part by much coffee & Red Bull.

Background People has a meeting today, & I'm very excited about it! We'll be meeting with at least a couple of people that we really would like to be involved! After that, I'm hoping I can get a nap in before rehearsal.

Thursday night Eli & I are going to see Equus, & afterwards going out with Tim to have drinks & catch up for a bit. I'm very excited. I've heard great things about the show.

Friday Eli & I are watching UP & Lost.

Saturday we're going with Dayna & Josh to have dinner & see Alice in Wonderland. I'm pretty excited about that. I've been waiting for forever for this movie to come out!

Sunday, I'm going home to watch the Oscars with my parents.

I really need some sleep. I'm going to crash if I don't get some rest. Maybe I'll take a nap before I get ready for class.

I've been listening to Ke$ha all night. Love her!

Must go finish cleaning & studying.
